Last weekend I finally visited an Austin mainstay that I’ve been wanting to try forever. Walton’s Fancy and Staple is right off west 6th in downtown Austin and is cozy, welcoming and wonderfully eclectic with a southern charm to boot; perfect for an overcast rainy day kind of morning.

As soon as you walk in, you can’t help but notice a million little details: the chalk board menus on the wall, the beautiful metallic touches, the precious glass pottery hanging from the ceiling, carefully crafted treats (I had the espresso macaroon and it was divine!), and how friendly everyone is! My favorite details were the burlap shopping bags, hanging glass pottery with succulents and I especially loved the gold antelope and silver stags mounted on the walls. They also had beautifully crafted floral and fauna center pieces sprinkled about that would be perfect for Friendsgiving or the holidays in December. I took way too many pictures (and was that girl) but shared with you some of my absolute favorites. This cozy and warm Brunch spot is an Austin staple and a must visit this winter for espresso, grits and fun times with friends!
