My liquid addiction to coffee started as a child when my grandmother used to serve me cold coffee in a bottle. Yes, you read that correctly. I became a coffee aficionado at a young age and have never looked back. Now, the first thing I NEED in the morning is a double iced latte and I constantly check out coffee shops around town to see who will win my heart over.
I recently visited Houndstooth Coffee in Austin, TX and was pleasantly surprised. I loved the minimalist design and quirky logo, the pattern of coffee and people. The serve direct trade coffee and chocolates and source sustainable products. As I order my usual, I notice the Askinosie chocolate bites and can’t resist. Because two of the best things in life are coffee and chocolate! My latte was delicious, the ambiance was inviting and I can see Houndstooth Coffee becoming part of my everyday “pattern.”
