I recently purchased a desk from Ikea with the intention of creating the perfect space for me to work on Seek Wander Share and gather my thoughts. The thing I love most about decorating is you can make the space what ever you want it to be, it’s a completely blank canvas and you’re the painter. But I’m left wondering…what will I paint?
I’m in the process of re-decorating my home and I’m obsessed with all things home decor and interior design right now.
No matter what design style you choose, I’m going with a modern, eclectic look, there are so many great small businesses that create one-of-a-kind pieces for your home. I’ve included some of my favorite items (hint, hint for my family and friends reading this…it’s basically my wish list) from oven mitts to wall clocks. I’m sure you can cross of one or two people from your list with these awesome gift ideas.
Last weekend I finally visited an Austin mainstay that I’ve been wanting to try forever. Walton’s Fancy and Staple is right off west 6th in downtown Austin and is cozy, welcoming and wonderfully eclectic with a southern charm to boot; perfect for an overcast rainy day kind of morning.
