The other day while browsing pinterest, (because I recently fell back in love with it, and can’t remember why I ever stopped in the first place) I realized my little apartment could use some zhooshing up. I moved in here about a year ago, Jan. 1st 2014 to be exact, and never got to decorate the place for the holidays. I wanted to do a DIY that was simple, elegant, and most importantly easy and quick!
After starting this blog with Melissa, I’ve hardly had that much free time and I’ve never been very crafty to begin with so simple, elegant and easy were really important to me. I love the way the paper chain looks draped over the curtain rod and the paper I chose was gold on one side and silver on the other so that the light hits it differently depending on where you are in my little living room. Melissa and I had so much fun with our DIY party that we decided to make some paper garlands to hang from the ceiling! Check back later this week for Holiday Decor DIY part 2 !
