Fashion X Austin SXSW Style Insiders Takeover

Today we’re kicking off our Fashion X Austin SXSW Style Insiders takeover! We’re so thrilled to be patnering with Fashion X Austin to bring you our SXSW adventures this year! Melissa and I will be sharing our favorite looks for SXSW from our adventure  last week when we were on a quest to find the perfect SXSW 2015 outfits, food truck maps and a SXSW Survival Kit which is live on Fashion X Austin today.

On our first day running around Austin trying to see as many shows as possible, I’ll be wearing this super cute H&M tshirt dress I found a few weekends ago while browsing the domain. It’s perfect for SXSW because its comfy (isn’t that the most important thing?), I don’t have to worry about anyone spilling on it (seriously $15) and if I get cold I can throw a sweater or flannel on and still look cute. These Sam Edelman booties are my tried and true concert going buddies. Last year for ACL, it rained and these bad boys made it through the muck and grim, surviving to see Lorde, Sam Smith, Lana Del Rey and my personal favorite The Districts! Closed toe shoes are a must, because the worst thing that could happen is someone steps on your toes while shoving up to see the band and BAM! night goes down hill from there lol. So heed my warning, just wear boots of some kind. Unless you are positive that you your just going to be doing some day concerts that are really chill. As far as carrying around your survival kit for SXSW , backpacks, like our SXSW “it” bag the ESPEROS backpack , and crossbodys are the only way to go in my very humble opinion. Both options keep your hands free for food, drinks and selfies. What more can a girl ask for?
