Coral Crush

This past weekend, I re-discovered one of my favorite dresses hidden way in the back of my closet. I haven’t worn this coral maxi in a very long time. Who knows why? I guess it’s just human nature at times to get tired of seeing the same thing. Or maybe women are just predisposed to always want new things. Either way, I fell back in love with this high low coral maxi that I bought years ago for a trip to Hawaii.

This past weekend, I wore this look when Jennifer and I had a busy Saturday of attending a blogger brunch, a pre-mother’s day soiree, and a girls night out dinner and margaritas. Phew, by the end of the day I was exhausted but it was so fun to catch up with the gals and chat about work, boys, blog stuff, shopping and whatever thoughts popped into our head. I’m clearly obsessed with maxi’s because I shoot a lot of them for the blog but I bought this at Beehive Boutique in the ATX and love wearing it with my metallic wedges (old) from Target because of its bright color. Coral goes so well with turquoise and I usually accessorize more with that color but wanted no fuss that day.
