If these black destroyed denim shorts look familiar to you, its because you’ve seen their medium wash twin before in my lazy sunday look and in how I dressed up that lazy look for night lol! I seriously can’t rave about these H&M destroyed denim shorts enough. They fit really well, aren’t too tight or too loose and at less $20 are an obvious choice for dark destroyed denim shorts of the year, am I right?

Mel and I were shooting the other weekend for the blog and this is what I wore to shoot her funnily enough! When we finished up her looks, the lighting was still really nice and she asked if I had anything with me to get one more shoot in and I thought, “gee, we could shoot this super comfy what-I-actually-wear (I actually wear everything though!) when all I care about is comfort and ease. Right now, these H&M destroyed denim shorts are on repeat (see them in medium wash here ) and I’ll remind you that they’re less than $20! Like seriously? I spent $60 on a pair of destroyed shorts from Urban last summer and now I’m thinking I was crazy because these H&M ones are even better! I love this utility jacket that I picked up from Nordstrom about two years ago because its simple, soft, light-weight and can go with ANYTHING! The one I linked to from the LOFT comes in tall and petite which means you can find the perfect length for you, just don’t forget to cinch the waist when you get it so that it emphasizes your waist! The tank is an amazing linen kinda worn in top that I picked up from Zara about a year ago and the more I wear it the better worn it becomes. This linen version from H&M wears in just as nice (I have this one in black too) and I think I’ll pick up the cream option for Italy. You know these shoes too, these are my feet’s best friends during the summer. Unfortunately they’re not available in a full size run anywhere, but you can get this super similar Sam Edelman pair that is like their cousin and just as cute!

My dad and I have nailed down about 6 cities that we’ll be visiting on our trip to Italy and by my dad and I, I really mean I did late one night last week with a full glass of wine and about three hours of hard core planning! I’m super excited but planning an European multi-city trip is no easy feat! I’m most excited Cinqueterre and Lake Como. Have you guys been to either of these places? Any suggestions? ALSO, we’re planning on staying in either apartments we’ll rent off Homeaway or hostels, so any advice on this would be awesome! The reason why we’ll be staying places like these is because it’s really important to me that I contribute my fair share to the expenses of the trip, and I can’t afford 5 star hotels every night. At least not yet!
