There’s something to be said when I want every single piece from a jewelry brand’s newest collection. Right now, I’m coveting the summer collection designed by Austin based designer, Rifle and Radford . Last week, Jennifer and I were invited to preview and shop their newest collection, Intrinsic Native, at Hotel St. Cecilia, a local boutique hotel in Austin. The handcrafted designs were stunning and each piece was so unique. I was crazy about the bright colors and beautiful stones used to create each necklace, earring, ring and bracelets. I envision wearing the jewelry with a crisp white bohemian dress and enjoying a chilled glass of wine on a hot summer night under a sky full of stars. From none other than the designer herself, the summer collection is “Inspired by the journey to seek a space of inherent belonging and spirited beauty.”
GRACE AND FRANKIE

Out of pure boredom, I found one of my new favorite Netflix original series – Grace and Frankie. I was unwinding at home last Friday from a long work week and turned on my Apple TV to discover a new show that starred Jane Fonda. I am so obsessed with Jane Fonda and without even reading the plot, I quickly delved into a Netflix binge. You all know what that means, countless hours in your PJ’s, snacking on popcorn and staying in an unfortunate sedentary position for far too long. But with such a clever story, I was instantly hooked. Who knew a show about folks in their 70s can be so relate-able to a girl in her 30s? I hate to spoil a good narrative but the main characters, who happen to be somewhat rivals, learn life is always full of surprises and no matter what age you are, you have to pick up the pieces and move on from unexpected situations. Such is life and we’ve all been burned in the past but this comedy takes a fresh approach to life’s conundrums.
RENEGADE CRAFT FAIR

As always, I get super excited when the Renegade Craft Fair comes into town. It’s such a great environment to feel inspired and you get to meet such creative artisans. Now, if you don’t know what the heck I’m talking about, the Renegade Craft Fair is “a thoughtfully curated marketplace where shoppers and micro-entrepreneurs make meaningful connections.” This event which originated in 2003, comes to town twice a year and graces us with some really cool indie-style arts and crafts. Maybe I love it because my inner crafty gal is screaming to get out. Truth be told, I have never been much of an artists so I really admire the individuals who are able to express their personality through such a unique talent. I’m also super pumped because I’ll be visiting the Potigy booth on Sunday, May 17th. They are great friends and it will be their first time selling their home decor items created out of recycled material at the event. Hopefully, I will find a ton of vendors and leave with a few unique items in hand.
