Growing up I can remember riding around in my dad’s weekend car with the top down and singing motown, do-wop and the blues with my dad. It was some of the most fun times I had while growing up and made me really fond of that era. Which leads me to the inspiration behind this look and this skirt! I’ve been tying up my button ups alot lately with skirts and high-waisted denim because its so playful and fun.
For this look, it was insanely humid out! So I was super happy that this gorgeous eyelet skirt was breezy and that the lining was shorter than the actual skirt. I’ve worn this to work, to dinner with my dad and to run errands on the weekends with flats. Nothing beats an A-line white cotton eyelet skirt in the summertime.
