SXSW So Far…

We had so much fun our first day as Fashion X Austin SXSW Style Insiders ! We were decked out in our SoLa style finds from our quest to find the perfect SXSW outfit Part 1 .

For our first day of our Fashion X Austin SXSW Style Insiders Takeover we wore outfits from SoLa Style, a local Austin Boutique, and roamed all over Austin, finally finding ourselves at the Spotify House on the east side.

How cute is this fringe purse? And I loved that SoLa Style encouraged me to mix brown and black! Fashion rules are meant to be broken, especially during SXSW.

This utility jacket definitely came in handy once the sun began to drop. Layering is key during SXSW!

Seriously in love with Melissa’s cool use of this flannel with the bodycon dress. One of my favorite looks from SoLa Style!

Melissa fell in love with these gorgeous Tom’s cat eye inspired sunnies from SoLa. Isn’t the shape amazing?

Day 2 of our Fashion X Austin SXSW Style Insiders started off with coffee at Joes on South Congress before we headed to see James Vincent McMorrow.

For Day 2 I went for a simple chic vibe in this sleek black sleeveless turtle neck and gorgeous midi skirt. The jacquard texture gives it such a special feel and adds that artist touch to today south by look.

SoLa has the BEST selection of sunnies a girl could ask for. I love how these have a subtle yet super cool bubble/polka dot print which perfectly compliments their round frame shape!

Please excuse my un-manicured nails! But this clutch is AMAZING. I love the bold lines and how the it mixes red and green in an unexpected non-christmas-ey way lol! This photo also shows you how GORGEOUS the print and texture of this skirt truly is!

We absolutely loved meeting up with Todd White to shoot before heading off to all our SXSW shows on Thursday!

Melissa’s look for Thursday was a mixture of florals, lace and chambray. Loving these natural earrings with the chambray and lace crop top!
