There’s an art to sitting down, putting pen or pencil to paper and sharing your thoughts with the world. Even if you keep your creation all to yourself, and never stamp it and drop in the mail box, or crumble it up and throw it away, or tuck it behind nicknacks in an old drawer, your creation still exists. That’s not the case with a file on your computer when you press delete, and I’ll admit it feels much more impersonal and unconnected. Today is National Handwriting Day, and although I would have wanted to send you something the old fashioned way, our favorite quotes, thoughts and musings will have to do.
From Austin with love,
“Fill your paper with the breathings of your heart.” – William Wordsworth
