This up coming Friday, I turn 25. In light of this super exciting event, I decide to put together some items that if budget did not exist I would TOTALLY get and shop like it’s my birthday. Thanks fiddy for the inspiration!
I’ve been craving white jeans, so first on my list is destroyed white skinnies, even though it’s been so humid here in Austin lately that I’ve sworn off anything tight and pants like lol. Next would be those GORGEOUS nude Stuart Weitzman Nudist sandals. They’re super pricey, but this is the list of things I would shop for if I had free reign ha! Same goes for those to die for bubble gum pink suede Alexander Wang ankle strap pumps. I’ve been lusting after them for a FULL year, and I can’t get them off my mind. They’re the perfect soft pop of pink to any wardrobe but at close to $500 they’re a serious hit to the bank account! Good thing budget doesn’t exist in this post lol! I’ve also seriously been craving a new pair of sunnies, with a little metallic lens, like maybe in blue or pink? And I love these ones because the shape looks really flattering and I usually tend towards a tortoise shell frame with my coloring. A lifetime supply of macaroons from L’ADUREE seems so cliche, but y’all, if I could eat macaroons every day for the rest of my life and not die of cavities or sugar overload, I SO WOULD. I also have been breaking out a lot lately, truth be told I think it has to do with not getting enough sleep and eating habits but, I figure a Clarisonic couldn’t hurt, so this one may be on my list for real. The new balances I think would be a good option for my Italy trip coming up super soon! And how fun is that adorable bright pink iphone cover that turns your phone into a lifesize Barbie phone look-a-like!? Perfect for turning a mature 25 (insert funny face emoticon here)!
Last weekend it rained the majority of the time, so I spent most of it inside or having a “YES” night with Mel and a friend. Have y’all heard of this before? We got the idea from Grace and Frankie, which Mel is currently obsessed with and got me hooked on too. It’s where you go out and you have to say yes to everything! We’re thinking of turning my birthday weekend into a Yes weekend…can’t wait to write a blog post about how much fun it will be! Plus I feel so lucky to have such great friends; Melissa has taken lead on planning my birthday festivities and this is the first time since my birthday cake wasn’t ninja turtles that I can remember not having to worry about planning my own birthday, which is an amazing feeling! Thanks Mel! You’re the best!
