I’ve recently noticed I have a thing for floral maxis! After looking at my closet, I’m clearly starting a collection. But how couldn’t I be obsessed with maxis? They’re such an easy piece to wear and perfect for the warmer weather here in Austin. It’s nice and airy and with fun prints to choose from, you can dress them up or down. I LOVE this oxblood floral dress from SoLa Style and adore the open back. For me, it’s so sexy when a woman’s back is showing!
I also feel sexy and confident in this look because a few days ago, I changed my hairstyle after 12 years. OMG, that’s right…12 years. It’s been way too long but I finally chopped off 6 inches. This may not seem like a big deal but it’s like breaking news for me. I was so worried I wouldn’t feel feminine but I absolutely love my new haircut because it feels fresh and healthy. I’m not quite sure why I was so scared before but now I’m ready to cut off two more inches and color it for summer. Change is good and with a new season upon us, I’m ready to start fresh!

The cut is fabulous Melissa! But please don’t start adding color! It is an added problem and expense in life when you are already blessed with such beauty! I am so proud of my daughter after having a mother who fell into coloring and has chosen not to color her beautiful brunette locks ever at the age of 25! A rarity these days! Thank your partner in crime for putting her father on Match which enabled me to meet him and become aware of this website! Cheers! He was most charming by the way and she really had a great idea by trying to get him out more! Delightful!
