I’ve got the blues, no more

The birds are chirping and flowers are blooming because Spring is finally here. Finally, the wintry blues have gone away. I’m so excited to spend my weekends around town enjoying the warm weather and watching everything come back to life. My time will now be spent outdoors going on picnics, stand up paddling, playing kickball, strolling the farmers market, patio brunches, and anything else that calls for soaking up some rays and hanging outdoors.

I can’t wait to wear all my new spring outfits that have been teasing me in my closet. I went overboard this winter and stocked up on some great spring dresses because I knew this moment would finally arrive. I bought this super comfortable jersey dusk blue dress from local Austin boutique, Luxe Apothetique. I’m such a fan of a maxi because they are so effortless. It’s an easy piece to style – just grab a cute scarf, pair it with unexpected sneakers (mine are Keds) and add a hobo style handbag and you’re out the door. Now, you will be ready to enjoy spring activities and you will be oh-so comfy in a jersey maxi dress!
