Right about now, I want nothing more than spring warmth on my skin. Not too mention, every single store you enter is stocked up with dresses, shorts, tanks, and bright colors. I am so ready for next season and so is my closet. My spring clothes are just hanging there staring at me in the face silently screaming….”Wear me!”

Recently, on one of my shameful shopping trips (it’s shameful because I practiced no self control and just blew my budget….oops!) I found this sexy little animal print dress that is perfect my for spring vacation to Puerto Rico. I can’t wait to wear it and lounge beach side with a drink in hand, playing dominoes, and listening to the waves. But I didn’t want to wait too long to wear it so, I perused my closet for this adorable outfit.

The dress is from a local boutique in Austin called FOUND and when I discovered it, I knew I was in trouble. When scouring my closet, I pulled out a sweater that was given to me by great friend and old roommate, Allison. For some odd reason, she did not want the sweater anymore and passed it down to me. She must have know that I’m always down for a freebie plus the cutouts on the sleeves add a special touch.

To accessorize the look, I wanted to be daring and mix another animal print hence, the leopard backpack. I found this at my fav boutique in Austin, Beehive . It was like love at first sight and I had to own it. It such a lightweight roomy backpack that I will use for traveling, going to concerts and everything in between.

Have fun mixing and matching different seasons! It’s so much fun to reinvent your closet.
