Sometimes a girl just needs to throw on a pair of loose boyfriend jeans and go to the movies. I was skeptical about boyfriend jeans at first because they look so loose and baggy but after realizing that I wanted to wear actual jeans to the movies instead of yoga pants I decided it was time to try a few boyfriend jeans. Newsflash! I should have tried them ALOT earlier!
Hooray for Galentine’s Day! The best day of the year to celebrate all your inspiring, talented, beautiful, charming, intelligent, kind, adventurous lady friends. Without your girls, who would else be there during your ups and downs. Helping you celebrate the promotions, going on double dates, listening to you talk for hours about your crush, debating what you should wear on a Friday night, motivating you to workout, and everything else under the sun.
Last weekend was I met up with my girlfriends for queso, tacos and drinks after a working all day (fun work that is) on the blog. Being from the south and growing up in Texas, tex-mex is just a way of life; in fact my dad loves it so much that I think if we could eat it every time we meet to somewhere to eat, we would lol! If only it wasn’t for my pestering him to try new places, we probably really would! Anyways, we met at La Condesa which is one of my all time favorite places for girl talk and the BEST drinks this side of the Mississippi. I didn’t have time to run home and grab flats so I wore what I had previously been wearing which was a super cute outfit built around a statement skirt!
Have you guys been loving ponchos too this winter or is it just me? Pretty sure it can’t possibly be just me, although I am truly loving this look! Ponchos are amazingly chic and so comfortable; its like wearing a blanket out and about and it still being completely socially acceptable, which is the best part!
