When my taxi was driving down the windy road along the Pacific coast to get to Terranea Resort , I knew I was in for a treat. Boy was I right! What a perfect escape from LA and all its craziness. Terranea is tucked away on the quiet shores of Palos Verdes overlooking Catalina Island and has views for days.
I am an explorer by nature and always curious by my surroundings, so I immediately walked the property and soaked in all the beauty. The lush landscape was perfectly maintained and the Mediterranean style bungalows were so adorable. I was excited to call this place home for the next few days. I walked all the trails there possibly was from morning to night, one to the lighthouse, another to a cove, and one alongside cliffs….eek! The stunning views of the ocean were captivating but what really blew my mind was watching the sunset illuminating the sky and lighting the resort up with beautiful colors. I loved everything about the resort – perfect location, great decor, delicious restaurants, friendly staff, breathtaking views, amazing spa, multiple pools, intimate fire pits, and cool California vibes.
I’m a big believer in getting away from the every day routine once in awhile and going somewhere new. So if you have the chance to go to Terranea I say, why not?!
