Warmer weather is here and that means fun floral, lace and ruffle detail shorts! It gets so hot here in Texas that you won’t catch me in jeans really all summer long. So that means stocking up on some super cute shorts to have on rotation from April to October lol. I usually wait until last minute to snatch up super cute shorts and by that time they’re always gone in my size. But not this year! I’ve rounded up my favorite shorts for almost any occasion!
I’m seriously obsessed with those high waisted white and purple shorts on the second row farthest to the right. They’re the perfect rise for a crop top and sandals but would also go perfectly with wedges and a blouse-y top either half tucked in the front of left flowy. The floral equipment shorts are kind of a splurge BUT equipment makes super great quality items and you know they’ll last forever. Don’t worry though because I strongly believe you don’t have to spend alot on a pair of shorts to get the right fit and the look your wanting. Forever21 has some SUPER cute shorts that are reasonable and just as on trend as something more expensive. The white, blue and floral shorts from BB Dakota on Revolve Clothing have the cutest tulip hem detail that is SUPER flattering on the thigh. And you know I can’t resist a cute ruffle with the gorgeous baby blue shorts! I find that a short with a flowy fabric and adjustable waist works best for me because I tend to like a looser fit on my thigh and butt but want it to fit my waist really well incase I wear a crop top!
