Last weekend it was absolutely gorgeous in Austin! The sun was out and I met the girls for a drink in these amazing leather shorts that I splurged on a few years ago at Nordstrom. I hadn’t yet worn them this entire winter, which honestly is a travesty, and I’m thrilled that the weather was nice enough to bring ‘em out!
Every once in a while, I can’t resist the urge to splurge on an amazing piece that I know I’ll own and wear forever. In this case, it’s these gorgeous Helmet Lang leather shorts that feel like butter on your skin and give the perfect oomph of cool to any look. I’ve never regretted purchasing them, although I do wish I wore them more often. Paired with pumps they’re perfect for drinks, or night out on a town for a concert, but paired with slip on sneakers they’re cool and laid back, the epitome of Austin style.
