With Mother’s Day a couple weekends away, we wanted to share some great gift ideas for the woman you admire, your mother! Moms are truly so special and one-of-a-kind and I can only imagine how hard their “job” is yet somehow they’re so full of love, patience, understanding and care. I know my mom is always there for me and bends over backwards to make sure my siblings and I are taken care of. I probably don’t tell her enough how much I appreciate all the sacrifices she made for me but on Mother’s Day I can at least treat her to a little gift to show my appreciation. My momma is a modern lady and always stays on trend. So with that in mind, I chose some great gift ideas that can appeal to the modern mom no matter what her age.

First idea, my mom’s favorite scent – a gardenia Diptyque candle because they really make your room smell like a fresh garden. I know my mom loves Kate Spade so this quilted black leather watch will be the perfect accessory and she’ll never run late to work again (I know where I get my tardiness from).  My mom just downsized and sold a majority of her kitchen ware at a garage sale so these adorable floral party plates are a great addition to her dish sets. My mom’s not very techie – I mean I have to show her all the features on the iPhone – but she always switches up her cell phone case and I love this pineapple case from Paper Source .

Well this next gift idea is maybe not the best for my mother because she never was a good cook (I ate a lot of pasta growing up because who can screw up boiling water) but this fun apron is a great gift for the mom’s who slave away in the kitchen. I ALWAYS remember my mother having her nails done but she never went to a nail salon. She is so good at painting her nails, a skill that was not passed on to me, so this L’Occitane manicure set is the perfect at-home treatment. I own this bkr water bottle and love it! I think every woman should own one because they are the easiest way to stay hydrated on-the-go and are just a stylish version of a water bottle. What’s not to love? Lastly, my mom loves jewelry and is a huge fan of unique earrings. I’m loving these understated half-moon hoop earrings designed by a local Austin artist and so will my mom.

Now, I need to decide which will be the perfect gift for my mom. If only, I could get them all! Happy Mother’s Day Mom, I love you!
