Despite it being freezing cold lately, no exaggeration here although I wish, I’m not letting the glum weather get my spirits down. Which is exactly why I pulled out this super cute graphic pom hat when it went below 35 the other day. I have always loved hats and think that they can be the perfect accessory to an outfit that is seemingly missing something but you can’t quite figure out what.

Last week Melissa and I went to the a super cute Blogger Mixer that was put on by the nicest, most talented, beautiful and creative two ladies: Erica Louie Lomax from MissLouie.com and Jesse Coulter from JesseCoulter.net . We met some super amazing ladies there too who were so incredibly lovely, talented and knowledgable. One thing I didn’t expect when starting this journey with Melissa was to meet so many incredible people. I am so pleasantly surprised and delighted to have connected with so many people that are chasing their dreams and accomplishing their goals. I can sometimes be a little too much in my head when it comes to a meet and greet or networking event of this sort, but Jesse, Erica and the Benji’s Cantina on west 6th made us all so comfortable with super cute sequin hearts from the hosts and free margaritas, plates and appetizers from the kitchen. Their queso is AMAZING. I would definitely suggest to any newer or veterans bloggers to connect with other bloggers in your immediate area! It’s so easy to connect and form meaningful connections via social media but there’s nothing like have a support group so close to your bat cave. Wishing all you ladies a very wonderful Friday and weekend!
