Girl’s Night Out for me is one of the most fun nights of the week. I really enjoy getting dressed up and trying new dishes at restaurants so I always have so much fun and look forward to these nights with my girlies. A red lip has never really been my thing, although I love it on others, but I’ve been playing more with lipstick especially red lipstick and the more I’m wearing it the more I’m starting to get use to it.

I feel so lucky to have such a great group of friends; with dating, I feel so much stress in picking out the perfect outfit, one that feels right for the restaurant, the guy and me (so much pressure!) and with going out with girls, I feel free to put on whatever I may want that evening, no matter how frivolous or girlie it may be. For this evening, I wanted to go with a bold put together look and red lipstick always makes me feel that way: bold, strong and put together. I kept the rest of my outfit simple by sticking with sleek white and black palette. The top is from that cute boutique in Austin where I went a little crazy one evening, Found Austin, and is from Cooper & Ella. I picked up several of these Cooper & Ella blouses because the material is so soft and they have amazing subtle details like the cute seaming around the neckline and the sleeve. These black Zara skinnies are super soft too and were a total steal because I picked them up on sale during one of their half yearly sales. To me, Black skinnies never really go out of style whether its spring, summer, fall or winter. I do tend to wear them more of course in the fall and winter but black skinnies make for a really sleek dressier look which can still be perfect in the spring and summer. Finally, the Vince sandals are some of my favorites because they have a leather sole and can be resoled which means they last forever. They were a bit of a splurge but I think as much as I wear them, it was totally worth it. Isn’t this fringe bag cute?! I borrowed it from Melissa (thanks bestie!) and I loved that it added an element of cool to this outfit. I’d love to hear from  you guys what you love to wear for girls night out and if you find dressing for a date as hard as I do!
