Last weekend I met up with Melissa on Saturday morning to brunch, talk blog and shop (by shop I mean literally talk shopping lol). When I was getting ready that morning I had my heart set on wearing a cute little draw string dress from Forever 21 that is incredibly comfortable, so I threw it on, grabbed my sunnies and DVF wedges ( similar nude wedges ) and headed out the door. As soon as I stepped out side, I felt the chill. Ladies you know what I’m talking about, you have this idea of what to wear in your mind and totally don’t even bother checking the weather so when you get outside you realize holy goodness, its freezing, what was I thinking.
This happens to all of us, so I did what any resourceful girl would do: I improvised and created a faux lace hem sweater with a gorgeous silk cami I picked up on sale at the cutest new boutique, Found, and threw a cream cable knit sweater from H&M ( similar super affordable version at $12! ) over it. Viola! Lace hem sweater on the go girlies!
This Saturday I am so excited because I am FINALLY getting my hair done after it being, I kid you not, 7 months! I can’t believe its been that long since seeing my hair stylist, who I have been going to since I was 14 years old. I have been feeling really blah about my hair lately and can’t wait to get my usual highlights and add back some layers. I am almost tempted to make a bold change and go for the lob or full side sweeping bangs, but I guess I’ll just decide the day of lol! Wishing you all a wonderful weekend and don’t forget to show the post below, I included the most amazing nude rock stud Valentino sandals at Nordstrom which are total splurge but a girl can dream!

The weather this winter has been all over the place so I know what you mean about wearing something without checking the weather! Love the way you layered this outfit! The lace peaking out is so pretty!

I love the classic color palette and all the little details you have: the juxtaposition between the lace and the thick sweater, the matching of your nails and your bracelet&watch, etc.

Kuo, I think putting together an outfit is like an art. It’s all about the little details to create a grand masterpiece!
