Horizontal, vertical, thin, thick – stripes come in all sizes and colors and I have dedicated a section in my closet to one of my favorite fashion statements. Because after all, you can never have too many striped tops. It actually came to the point where I banned myself from buying anything with stripes because it was becoming overkill. Hmmm, so maybe you can have too many. That’s besides the point, I love the look of a classic striped top because it can be dressed up or down and will never go out of style.
Since, it’s summer time I went scouring for a striped tank and found this gem at Nordstrom Rack. As a matter of fact everything I’m wearing for this post (minus necklace, shoes and earrings) is from the Rack. Swear, this is not a paid post….Haha. I clearly just love shopping there because I always find great pieces. The tank is the perfect weight for this weather and I love the look of pairing it with rolled up destroyed denim shorts. Since it’s a million degrees outside, anywhere you go indoors has the AC on full blast so I always carry a super light-weight jacket and I’m totally obsessed with this military inspired jacket with an airy knit back. It’s such an unexpected detail and not to toot my own horn but I always get compliments when I wear it. The necklace by Kristin Miller is such a great accessory and I usually wear it dressed up but this time around was feeling the caj look.
Now you know how I wear my summer stripes and this is how
Jennifer wears hers
….so how do you wear your stripes?
