New Years Eve is only 6 days away (eek!) and then we will be in 2015! For NYE, I love to get dolled up and spend a night out on the town with my girlfriends; our group of girls are so driven and busy that it’s hard to find a time when everyone can get together but we always make holidays like this a priority!

Confession time: when you are petite and very narrow in the hips like me, it can be hard to find a flattering look for a dressy occasion! I usually wear shift dresses because I’ll be honest, their so comfy and classically chic but I like to switch it up so my silhouettes aren’t the same over and over again. A more fitted look like a dress with a clingy bottom half doesn’t usually work for me because I don’t have that gorgeous hour glass shape I love so much (even though I try, you can attest macaroons at whole foods). One shape that I have found that works for a petite frame is a fit and flare. This dress from BCBG (old) has a faux bustier top with a fit and flare bottom that is super flattering and still comfortable to dance in all night long! Unfortunately, I can’t make the same promise for these gorgeous pearlescent nude YSL pumps , they are beautiful thought aren’t they? I kept my jewelry and accessories simple because with a look like this you don’t need much more. I put together some looks below for my petite girls out there who still need to pick up a look for NYE.
