I love lingerie and what a perfect time of year to buy some really tasteful, delicate, lace-y items to include in your intimate apparel wardrobe. But before you buy anything, I beg of you to get a proper bra fitting at your local Nordstrom store. Do not go anywhere else! These ladies are experts and can probably even eye ball your size. I know this because I was the lingerie manager at Nordy’s at one point in my career. The right fitting bra will make you stand taller, make your clothes look better, and give you more confidence. Plus, when you are wearing a fun, colorful, sexy bra underneath your blouse it’s a little secret only you know and it makes a woman feel good.
After you’ve been fit, now the fun begins and you get to shop! For V-day, buy an alluring bra and pantie set in either red or black. Pair it with a garter belt, thigh highs, and tall heels to really get your man’s blood pumping. For smaller busted women, I suggest a matching bralette and thong set by Cosabella . They make my favorite soft bras (no wire) because they use Italian lace which is so soft and delicate. For those wanting a little more coverage, try a sheer robe, silk chemise, or lace jumpsuit. All are equally sultry and seductive. My absolute favorite Valentine’s look is a simple low rise thong from Hanky Panky . Great collection & tips. I love lacy lingerie, it feels so much nicer to wear than boring everyday pieces. I especially love slips because they can double as sleepwear if not too revealing & they are so comfy.
