Since setting my resolution this year to travel more, I have had to brain storm how I am exactly going to make that happen. What was the solution I came up with: shopping my closet as a way to save money. Every girl has some items that have been tucked away in their closet that they haven’t worn in a while. But it can be so much to try on some pieces that you haven’t played with in a million years.
When you’re going through your closet looking for old pieces to make new again, look for items that you haven’t gotten alot of use out of, that you can still remember the reason why you bought in the in the first place and still have a reason for you to slip them on again. For me, this fun take on a t-shirt dress has an amazing wrap skirt detail that is still super trendy and appropriate for today. This dress is super soft and the perfect date night or look for a fun concert if paired with a cute leather jacket or you can throw on some booties and a jean jacket for a third date to the movies and dinner. I seriously can’t wait to see what you ladies put together and the pieces that you breathe new life into!
